Department of Defense (DoD) CE Information

For compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, as of January 1, 2011, the U.S. DoD no longer recognizes CompTIA's good-for-life (GFL) certifications. Individuals certified after December 31, 2010, are in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M for three years from their certification date and are automatically enrolled in the CompTIA CE Program. Note that CE Program participants must pay an annual fee as part of their successful program completion.

CE tokens

DoD components may purchase bulk tokens from CompTIA that can be used by employees to pay their annual CE fees. Check with your manager or component POC to find out if you’re eligible for a token. CE tokens do not expire and are non-refundable. A minimum purchase of 10 CE Tokens is required per order. Some exceptions apply.

Log in to your certification account to pay your CE fee now.

If you’re a component POC responsible for purchasing CE tokens for your employees, email cetokensdod@comptia.org for ordering information.

Certification Verification for the Department of Defense (DoD)

The DoD Workforce Certification (DWC) application has been decommissioned. At this time there is no DWC replacement application on the milConnect site, and CompTIA has not received any updates regarding a replacement system or process to date.

You may provide verification of your CompTIA certification status by downloading a PDF copy of your certificate or providing a transcript of your CompTIA certification(s).
